July 19, 2026: Post 477 brought home several honors at the 2026 Department Convention recognizing our dedication to Community and Service.
June 19, 2026: American Legion Post and Squadron 477 proudly support Missions of Honor, Old Glory Honor Flight & Freedom to Liberty. Since our inaugural golf outing in 2023, we've raised and donated more than $188,000 to these organizations.
May 25, 2026: Honoring our Heroes once again. Thanks to incredible Community support for our 2025 launch, Post 477 and the St Nazianz Lions are thrilled to display the Veteran banners in 2026!
Post & Squadron 477 members honor our Veterans and military members by providing Funeral Honors and paying tribute at 17 area cemeteries each Memorial Day.
March 6, 2026: At Post 477, we empower the next generation through Badger Boys, Read Across America, Special Olympics, Youth Sports, and Scholarships. These activities strengthen our community, creating vital opportunities for young people to thrive..
May 14, 2026: WOW! Our 2026 Tee It Up Fore Troops Golf Outing was an incredible success! 244 golfers,
70+ volunteers, 50+ sponsors, 100+ Veterans and military members played completely free.
22d of each month: Post 477 members conduct Buddy Checks. Take a moment to call, text, message, or visit local Veterans you know. This simple action can change a life. It may save a life!

perform Final Salute ceremonies via the
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice
"We Honor Veterans" program.
July 4, 2025 - July 4, 2026: The American Legion Post 477 Family completed the American Legion Challenge 250, uniting to raise awareness for Be The One, our mission to prevent Veteran suicide.
